Scratches and stone chips FROM £30
Repairs in this category include light surface scratches which are removed by rubbing with a very fine grade of abrasive paper and refinishing with cutting compound applied with a machine polisher. Also stone chips which occur mainly on the bonnet and wings are rust treated and retouched to improve general appearance of the vehicle.

Small - medium panel dents FROM £45
A medium panel dent is a size that would fit in the palm of your hand. Panel dents are repaired just as a car body shop would, by applying body filler and reshaping it to regain original contour of the panel. High build primer is then applied to the repair to obtain the finish required for painting. A more detailed description of the entire repair process is shown on the example repair page.

Damaged paintwork FROM £30
A scuff or a deep scratch to a vehicle's paintwork that has not damaged the panel in any way is classed as damaged paintwork. No body filler is required because it is only the paint that is damaged. The damaged paint is removed by using abrasive paper and the area is primed with etch primer if metal has been exposed to inhibit corrosion and then high build primer. The primer is rubbed to a smooth finish and the panel is painted to its original finish.

Cracked or dented bumpers FROM £45
The technique used to repair cracked bumpers is called plastic welding which involves melting the damaged area back together and reinforcing it with aluminium mesh. Any dents or imperfections would then be skimmed over with a flexible body filler to regain the original contour of the bumper. Damage that is very bad or bumpers that are made of a material that won't melt back together, eg fibreglass, have to be repaired on the inside of the bumper. This may mean that the bumper has to be removed, repaired and refitted.

Scuffed alloy wheels FROM £30
The repair technique used depends upon the extent and the location of the damage on the wheel. In all cases the wheel has to be removed from the car. If the damage is near the centre, then the tyre can be left inflated during the repair, if the damage is on the edge then the tyre will probably have to be deflated and removed which means taking the wheel away to the workshop. For very deep damage, an extremely strong and durable filler is used to to carry out the repair. The wheel is then re-painted and finished with a durable clear top coat.
